About the Art

Inspired by the Orion nebula, ‘GAZE’ is a permanent, exterior artwork created for a new apartment complex. The vision was to create an artwork that would build off of the existing trellis, creating an impactful atmosphere for both the residents of the building and pedestrians on the street.

Stars created from specialized polycarbonate hang from a spaceframe structure, giving the artwork an organic form that plays and shifts in the light like celestial dust.
