JAMES PETERSON

James Peterson’s art lives in a place between science and the organic, representing the dualities of our world that are in tension and seemingly at odds with itself.

Art is an experience for James as he places his focus on creating sculptures that are immersive and inspirational, allowing us to commune together and share these moments.  Through his work, he chases feelings of elation and calm, which have become more and more difficult to achieve in this media dominant time. Through his experiential installations, he is in a constant exploration of patterns, color, and form to discover the beauty contained within them.

His large-scale sensory-driven pieces have been exhibited internationally through museum and private commissions and with festivals such as Burning Man, Art Basel, and Coachella.
